Description — The St. Cloud State University Baseball coaching staff would like to invite you and your staff to our 3^rd Annual SCSU Coaches Clinic on Saturday, March 13th.

 

TENATIVE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

 

HUSKY DOME

9:30 AM - Registration at the Husky Dome Entrance

10:00 AM Welcome by Ken Picha

10:05-Noon SCSU BASEBALL SPECIALTY DRILL WORK; Individual and Team Drills

Baseball Strength/Conditioning Program

 

Noon-1:00 Lunch (Sammy’s Pizza- Included in Fee)

 

HALENBACK HALL Room 335

1:00–1:30 – Adam Kampsen, Hitting

1:30-2:00 – TBD, Infield

2:00-2:15 – Afternoon Break

2:15-2:50 – Pat Dolan, Baseball: Between the Lines!

2:50-3:30– Pete Pratt, Pitching

3:30-4:00 – Dean Jaacks, Team Defense

4:00-4:30 – TBD, Bunting and Base running

4:30-5:00 – Umpire/Coach Rules Interpretation Session

5:00 Coaches Social (Location: TBD)

 

The morning session will be a hands-on session on the field in our Husky Dome.  We will go over numerous position and team drills. We will also introduce our strength and conditioning program for pitchers and position players!

 

The afternoon consist of classroom type lectures covering fundamental development in various areas of baseball.
