The mission statement of the Starz of Tomorrow Baseball Academy is to create an environment to develop baseball skills and fundamentals, while providing an opportunity to showcase talent in a competitive and fun environment. Well over 20,000 baseball players have went through our program with well over 200 moving on to the college level and just under 20 to the professional level.

Starz of Tomorrow Baseball Academy WHAT IS NEW.doc

Our Starz of Tomorrow events range from youth summer Mobile instructional camps and MEA, Christmas, MLK & Presidents Day clinics to 1-1 & small group specialty clinics and up to high school fall leagues, prospect ID showcases & team camps. The baseball teaching mechanics and drill work that are taught at our camps are used with a hands-on approach. We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers in a baseball FUN atmosphere.

Our camps and clinics are held at the St. Cloud State University Husky Dome & Field house, Joe Faber Field & Whitney Fields in St. Cloud and various other top baseball facilities around Minnesota. We use the Husky Dome during winter and early spring camps & clinics, Whitney Fields for our fall leagues and the other complexes during our Starz Summer Mobile Camp Series, where we come to individual home towns to host one day camps. This past summer, we hosted camps in 15 cities all away from International Falls, Aitkin, Baxter and Perham down south to New Ulm, Hutchinson and Glencoe and metro cities in Chanhassen and Shakopee and then throughout Central Minnesota from Elrosa, Holdingford, Royalton, Sauk Rapids and Waite Park.

  • 35 years of directing the Starz of Tomorrow Baseball Academy, LLC (FUN & FUNdamentals since 1991!
  • 25,000+ players have attended the Starz of Tomorrow camps, leagues, lessons and showcases with well over 250 moving on to college baseball and 23 to professional baseball!
  • SCSU record of 611-243-1 (.715) as the program’s all-time winningest head coach.
  • 912-451-1 career college record for a .669 winning percentage with 19 30-win seasons, seven 40-win seasons and one 50-win season.
  • 10 NCAA Regional Tournaments (2010-13, 2015-19, 2023) with four region runner-up finishes (2010, 2012-13, 2015). The Huskies earned NSIC Regular Season Championships in 2013 and 2015 along with NSIC Tournament Championships in 2011, 2015, 2016 and 2023.
  • 2016 NCBWA Central Region Coach of the Year, 2015 NCBWA National Coach of the Year and NSIC Coach of the Year
  • 2013-2015 NSIC Champions
  • 2016, 2015 and 2011 NSIC Tourney Champions
  • 1st, 2nd or 3rd place finishers in 13-17 years and the NSIC
  • 71 Huskies have earned All-Conference honors, 51 have gained All-Region status and 21 All-Americans have been crowned.
  • 139 Huskies Academic All-Conference honors in addition to 16 Academic All-District recipients. Six Huskies have earned Academic All-American status under Dolan’s leadership
  • Head baseball coach at St. Cloud State University, Dakota State University, Belmont Abbey College, NC, Itasca CC. Won a conference championships at each program to go along with a 95% graduation rate and 3.0+ team GPA
  • Top 25 nationally ranked teams at all four colleges and #1 National ranking at SCSU in 2015 and 2016 for 8 weeks and #4 in 2019
